Gasum Corporation imports, markets, wholesales and supplies natural gas through its gas transmission network in Finland. We offer services and energy solutions related to natural gas, in particular for heat production. We actively develop the local distribution network for natural gas as well as the network for refuelling vehicles powered by natural gas. We also invest in opportunities to generate and exploit biogas and liquefied natural gas (LNG).

We utilise Improlity’s project management software for managing the Group’s business and development projects. Our projects are primarily related to the development of new energy solutions, concepts and products. Ixonos Plc is a service company in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector. Ixonos offers customer-specific services in technology consulting, project management, and software development and maintenance.

We use a portfolio management application based on Improlity’s platform as a part of the continuous project office service we provide to the KuntaIT unit of Finland’s Ministry of Finance, one of our customers.

This platform is an ideal supplement to the service portfolio managed by our project specialists. Designed and implemented in cooperation with our customer, the tailored application meets KuntaIT’s needs well, and enables the centralised monitoring and managing of KuntaIT’s diversified project portfolio.

The system is now globally used in all our product development units, and has made project monitoring and reporting simpler and more efficient. In KONE Finland we needed to replace the Excel worksheets that we previously used for personnel development discussions with easy-to-use and easy-to-find forms. We also wanted to generate summary reports of development plans and discussions. We've now used these forms for about a year and a half, and we've received positive feedback about them from both supervisors and their subordinates. HR is now better able to monitor the status and progress of development discussions.

Improlity has been very customer-oriented and quick to act in enabling us to introduce the use of these forms. Improlity has also provided the updates needed professionally and flexibly.

We have deployed Improlity Oy's software solution to enhance our employee suggestions processes and activities. The system also includes continuous improvement, accident notification, and service request features. Improlity's software has proven to be an excellent solution because it is easy to use and has such versatile features. In addition, Improlity is a highly competent and service-minded supplier.

We've now eliminated the paperwork and Excel worksheets that we previously used, and in doing so streamlined the whole process. The deployment project was completed on schedule and met the targets we set for it, so our process is now transparent.

Sacotec Components operates in Riihimäki and has 50 years of experience. The company employs 60 people and is the only industrial-scale foundry in Finland manufacturing high-precision investment castings.

"Konecranes will use the project management program globally to monitor and report on all product development projects throughout the Group. The program collates the working hours and costs of product development personnel, as well as the costs of personnel in other departments participating in the development project. The aim is to enable real-time monitoring of the project progress, and compare actual progress to the schedule outline and cost estimates in the project proposal. Compared to the current system the new program accelerates the preparation of new projects, facilitates simultaneous monitoring of all projects (portfolio view), and diversifies reporting opportunities."
